The 650 Twin is the rebirth of Royal Enfield’s legendary parallel twin cylinder engine. And it’s driving two Royal Enfield classic motorcycles – the Interceptor and the Continental GT. While classically styled and visually beautiful, the new engine is Royal Enfield’s most forward-looking yet, with a cleaner, elegant look, fewer components, less weight and easier maintenance.

Powered by the air-oil cooled parallel 650 Twin, the Interceptor is a trove of ’60s design staples with its 7″ headlight, twin clock front and quilted twin seat. The narrow teardrop tank is slapped with a classic badge and topped with a Monza-style fuel cap. A dual cradle frame with a rear loop makes up the core, by way of a nod to the original Interceptor

Go anywhere your adventures takes you. The tripper navigation system on your Scram 411 keeps you on course. It’s powered by Google Maps and the Royal Enfield app, keeping your smartphone connected through Bluetooth.

 

EVOLUTION

The engine has been designed keeping in mind real world riding. A healthy spread of torque across the RPM range will ensure the rider is not left hunting for drive—good low end and midrange torque to clear obstacles; and sufficient top end power for all-day highway cruising. True to Royal Enfield’s engine DNA, the longstroke LS410 delivers the key low-end torque, giving you usable power at lower RPMs for in-city conditions and all the pulling power required when you go off-road.
